About Gardena
Gardena is the European reference brand for home irrigation. Founded in Ulm in 1961 and now part of the Husqvarna group, the German company built its success on the Quick-Connect fitting system: a simple idea — fast connectors without tools — that revolutionised hobby irrigation.
Unlike American professional brands, Gardena targets primarily the home user who wants professional results without an installer. The SILENO smart and Water Control systems integrate with the Gardena Smart ecosystem via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, manageable from the official app with geofencing and weather adaptation.
For medium-small home gardens (up to 300–400 m²), Gardena offers complete solutions that are easy to install on your own. Availability in large DIY stores and the dense service network across Europe are concrete advantages that American competitors cannot match in the retail market.
